Job summary

Senior Lifestyle in Levittown, PA is seeking a friendly cook to prepare meals for residents, guests, and staff in accordance with daily planner and standard recipes.

You will work the food line during mealtimes, ensure safety and sanitation, and maintain a positive, professional demeanor while delivering great service.

Qualifications

• Experience in production cooking and/or preparing therapeutic diets preferred.
• Must communicate clearly in English.
• Possess or be willing to obtain necessary food handling and sanitation licenses.
• Basic computer skills; entry level Excel and Word required.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor toward residents and coworkers.

Qualifications

• You have basic computer skills. Entry level proficiency with Excel and Word is required.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
