Silver Birch of Fort Wayne Cook Rd. is seeking a Cook to join our Culinary Team. Cooks prepare exceptional meals to ensure a high-quality dining experience for our residents. We are looking for a passionate cook who makes a difference daily in the lives of our residents and coworkers.

Silver Birch of Fort Wayne Cook Rd. is an Assisted Living Community dedicated to providing the best care, compassion, and customer service in our communities through all roles.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares, seasons, cooks, and serves all items as designated on set menu for assigned meal; ensure appropriate portioned servings according to portion control standards and recipes.
• Monitors and records temperatures of hot and cold foods through food preparation.
• Checks and inspects food products and supplies upon delivery.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and work areas in compliance with safe food handling standards.
• Provides exceptional customer service.
