Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare in Charlotte Hall, MD, is hiring a Cook for the Charlotte Hall Facility. This full-time, on-site role operates 6 AM to 7 PM, seven days a week, supporting dietary services for residents and staff with safe, quality meal preparation and service.

The position requires prior food service experience, ServSafe certification preferred, and the ability to pass background checks and screenings. On-site work only; benefits and opportunities for growth are offered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve food in accordance with established policies and procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe environment in the kitchen at all times.
• Comply with food safety standards and guidelines during all phases of food handling.
• Complete all required documentation, including temperature logs.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment, and return them to proper storage areas as requested.
• Assist in assuring proper receiving, rotating, and storage of food and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Title: Cook (Full-Time)

Location: Charlotte Hall Facility, 30007 Business Center Drive, Charlotte Hall, MD

SHIFT: 6 AM to 7 PM, Sunday through Saturday

JOB SUMMARY: The Charlotte Hall Drug & Alcohol Residential Treatment Center has served local communities for more than 40 years, providing treatment through structured programs for detox, residential care, medication-assisted treatment, and family education for both men and women. Pyramid Healthcare offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare for our clients to help develop the strength needed to overcome life’s challenges and allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being. We are seeking a Cook to join our team in supporting our clients with the preparation and serving of high-quality food in a timely, efficient, sanitary, and consistent manner; operating and cleaning kitchen equipment; and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas.
