Compass Group USA’s Eurest unit in Columbus, GA is hiring immediately for full time and part time COOK positions at RTX P&W Columbus - 8801 Macon Road. Schedules include 5:00 am–1:00 pm and 2:00 pm–9:30 pm, with online applications accepted.

Prior batch cooking, scratch cooking and recipe experience are required. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, with benefits for full-time and part-time associates.

Qualifications

• Previous batch cooking, scratch cooking, and recipe experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and proper storage of food and supplies.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
• Maintains proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
