Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is under the direct supervision of the Administrator. This individual will be expected to follow standardized recipes. Responsible for maintaining a proper and accurate inventory. Responsible for keeping kitchen equipment clean at all times. Must make sure that any special diets are followed. Must report to the Administrator any significant changes in a resident’s eating habits. Must ensure that all leftover foods are stored in proper containers, labeled and dated. Must ensure that refrigerators and freezers are operating at the correct temperatures and are equipped with thermometers. Must follow measurements accurately.
