Job summary

Mid Minnesota Entertainment’s Dead End Hayride is hiring Cooks to join our food service team this fall season in Wyoming, Minnesota. You’ll prepare high-volume, crowd-favorite items using commercial kitchen equipment including fryers and grills, delivering quality dishes in a fast-paced, outdoor attraction setting.

We offer day and night shifts, 10–40 hours weekly, seasonal duration about 1.5 months, and competitive hourly pay with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience operating fryers and grills in a food service setting.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Available to work both day and night shifts, including weekends.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Familiar with proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Dependable, team-focused, and able to work in fast-paced conditions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items using flat-top grills, deep fryers, and other commercial kitchen equipment
• Ensure all food is cooked and served according to safety and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and prep space
• Monitor food inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Work efficiently under pressure during high-volume times
• Support food service team in set-up and close-down of stands
