Job description

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Cook
  • Hourly Pay Range: $17.87 - $26.65. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
  • Location: Edward Hospital - Naperville, IL
  • Full time | 40 hours/week
  • Hours: Monday - Friday, shifts will rotate between 5am - 1:30pm or 12pm - 8:30pm, with rotating weekends and holidays

What you will do:

  • The cook prepares specified menu items for patients, cafeteria, catered services and ensures adherence to sanitation, safety and food handling procedures.

What you will need:

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of two years of cooking experience in an institutional setting
  • Certification: Food Handler Training Certificate Program (ANSI Accredited) within 30 days of start date of position for employees working on their ServSafe Manager Certificate (ANSI)
