Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring a Cook at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. Evening shift, full-time, 40 hours per week, with rotating weekends and holidays.

The cook will prepare items for patients, cafeteria, and catered services while following sanitation and food-handling procedures. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED or at least two years of institutional cooking experience; a Food Handler Training Certificate within 30 days of start date.

$18.76 - $27.20 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What You Will Do

The cook prepares specified menu items for patients, cafeteria, catered services and ensures adherence to sanitation, safety and food handling procedures.

What You Will Need

• Education: High School Diploma or GED or a minimum of two years of cooking experience in an institutional setting
• Certification: Food Handler Training Certificate Program (ANSI Accredited) within 30 days of start date of position for employees working on their ServSafe Manager Certificate (ANSI)
