Job summary

SONIC Drive-In restaurants is looking for a Cook to oversee the Appetite Satisfaction Department across stations like Food Production, Grill, Fryer and more. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking orders, portioning, dressing items, packaging, and rigorous cleaning to maintain quality.

Candidates should be able to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays, follow directions, and uphold hygiene and uniform standards while collaborating with a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills.
• Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking food orders to meet product quality standards.
• Food preparation and portioning.
• Cooking on the grill.
• Operating the fry station.
• Dressing items to order.
• Packaging all menu items and checking for product quality and consistency.
• Cleaning including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counter-tops and sanitizing food area.
