Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking a Cook to oversee the Appetite Satisfaction Department, operating Food Production, Grill, Fryer stations and related tasks. Responsibilities include cooking, food prep, portioning, dressing items to order and ensuring quality.

You may need to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, with emphasis on hygiene and timely service. Able to work in a fast-paced environment, follow directions, and maintain a clean, safe workspace; uniforms and appearance

Qualifications

Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
Flexibility in all situations based on business needs.
Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills.
Ability to follow directions.
Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.
General knowledge of the restaurant/retail industry preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food orders to meet product quality standards.
Food preparation and portioning.
Cook on the grill.
Operate the fry station.
Dress items to order.
Package all menu items and check for product quality and consistency.
Clean including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counters and sanitizing areas.
