Job summary

KFC Plantation location is seeking crew members to prepare and cook food to order, maintain hygiene, and operate standard kitchen equipment. You will follow order slips or directions and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The role requires teamwork, ability to work under pressure, and flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior food service experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication required.

• Basic food-handling, preparation, and cooking procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares world-famous chicken that is cooked to order or kept warm until ordered and sold.
• Operates large-volume cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, or deep fryers.
• Prepares, washes, and cuts food to be cooked.
• Prepares and cooks food according to instructions provided on food order slips or through verbal directions; verifies the quality and quantity of all orders.
• Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
