Kentucky Fried Chicken in Jeffersonville, IN is hiring a Cook to join a fast-paced, hospitality-focused team. You’ll receive paid training, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to grow since many managers started as cooks.

Responsibilities include preparing and presenting our world-famous chicken, upholding quality and safety standards, maintaining a clean workstation, meeting daily goals, stocking inventory, and following food safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Fun, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual with flexible availability including weekends and shifts.
• Ability to operate restaurant equipment safely (fryers, ovens, etc.).
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs, push/pull up to 90 lbs, and stand/walk for most of the shift.
• Good personal grooming and teamwork mindset.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Use the correct tools to prepare, cook, and present our world-famous chicken.
• Serve food that meets KFC’s high quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and well-stocked workspace to ensure food quality.
• Deliver quality products quickly and accurately.
• Unload, stock, and maintain inventory levels while keeping the work area safe and clean.
• Work towards daily restaurant and shift goals.
• Follow food safety procedures and report any issues promptly.
