Job description

Be a part of the Temp-Stop Family

Temp-Stop, established in 1998, has grown to 10 Convenience Store locations and 2 Liquor Stores. WE NEED YOU TO BE A PART OF OUR FAMILY!

  • Starting pay is $16.00 per hour for a store associate. If you have experience, starting pay can be higher.
  • Earn an additional $.50 per hour from midnight to 6 a.m. (see company policy upon accepting a position).
  • Performance reviews occur as early as 90 days, with annual reviews thereafter.
  • Health Insurance is available within 90 days of your start date.
  • Vacation Pay, Overtime pay over 40 hours, an Annual Bonus based on store profits, and Holiday Overtime pay.

Job Duties: CHAMPS CHICKEN

  • Prepare all food items as directed, maintaining sanitary and timely standards.
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Keep station clean and organized, practicing good safety and sanitation.
  • Assist with cleaning and organizing the kitchen and equipment.
  • Restock items as needed during the shift.
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.

Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly or Twice monthly

In addition, if interested in becoming a cashier, the role involves:

  • Providing friendly and professional customer service.
  • Running a cash register, including handling cash, lottery tickets, and cash cards.
  • Completing shift reports.
  • Cleaning windows, floors, bathrooms, and emptying trash.
  • Stocking shelves and coolers.
  • Sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Checking in products upon delivery.
  • Yard maintenance tasks such as sweeping, shoveling, painting, and checking gas wells.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Accurately reading, writing, and counting for paperwork.
  • Wearing the required store uniform.
  • Availability for weekend, evening shifts, and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Attending mandatory meetings (e.g., T.A.M., sexual harassment training).

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting 1 to 15 lbs.
  • Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist.
  • Accessing all store areas freely.
  • Moving quickly around the store.
