Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents and guests following menus and recipes. The role supports a team environment and requires maintaining food quality, safety, and presentation across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of line cook experience and/or training.
• Good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Ensure freshness, proper seasoning, and cooking status of all foods served.
• Stock and clean station for next shift.
• Follow proper food rotation policies.
• Maintain a positive team-focused attitude.
• Promote positive relations with residents, families, and guests.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and security standards.
