Job summary

Green Lake Conference Center is seeking full-time and part-time Cooks to join the Dining Services Team as valued members of our guest-focused operation. You will handle hot and cold food preparation, uphold quality and safety standards, and contribute to an excellent dining experience for guests.

Compensation ranges from $17 to $22 per hour, with rotating shifts across early morning to evening hours. This role supports our mission in a welcoming, community-centered setting at GLCC in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

Prior experience in kitchen operations, cooking, and/or food service is required.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and dining environment.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and coordinate with the Dining Services Team Members to monitor food production and ensure timely, efficient service.
Prepare meals by following established recipes and procedures, ensuring food quality and consistency.
Respond to guest inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm regarding dietary needs.
Follow all food safety guidelines, sanitation practices, and cleanliness guidelines to ensure a safe kitchen and dining environment.
Identify and report maintenance needs for Dining Services equipment to ensure reliable operation.
