Job summary

Brookmeadow at Cobb Corner is seeking a part-time cook in Stoughton, MA to prepare and plate meals for residents and events, while accommodating dietary needs. This role supports a safe, home-like dining environment and offers a generous benefits package.

Requirements include a Food Safety certification (preferred), 1–2 years of cooking in a fast-paced setting, strong communication, reliability, and punctuality. The team values DEI, professional development, and meal benefits during shifts.

Qualifications

• Certification: Food Safety certification, preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years as a cook in a fast-paced setting.
• Physical requirements: Lifting trays and dishes, occasionally moving dining tables and furniture.
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

Part Time: 24 hours per week with 16 hours being evening shifts and 8 hours during morning shifts

PAY & BENEFITS

Rates start at $20 per hour
