Job summary

Senior Living Residences' Methuen Village in Methuen, MA is seeking a friendly cook to join our Dining team. You will prepare and plate meals for residents and special events, while accommodating individual dietary needs.

This full-time role offers rotating day shifts, comprehensive benefits starting at hire, and opportunities for professional growth, including dementia-care certification training. Our team prides itself on a safe, home-like work environment and community values.

Qualifications

• Food Safety certification preferred.
• 1–2 years cooking experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Physically able to lift trays and occasionaly move dining tables.
• Effective communication with residents and co-workers.
• Punctual and reliable in daily living activities.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

Full Time: rotating days with an every other weekend commitment

Rates start at $20 per hour

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

The cook will be responsible for preparing and plating food for meals and special events, and accommodating residents' dietary needs as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certification: Food Safety certification, preferred
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years as a cook in a fast-paced setting
• Physical requirements : Lifting trays and dishes, occasionally moving dining tables and furniture
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
