Job summary

The Havens at Princeton, part of Navion Senior Living, seeks cooks to assist in meal preparation, oversight, and serving in a high-quality Assisted Living Community. You’ll apply culinary and team skills to enhance resident satisfaction and support a great team.

We offer a part-time role with opportunities to work with a supportive team while delivering nutritious, appetizing meals to residents. Training and certifications may be encouraged to maintain high service standards and resident

Qualifications

• Must have ServSafe certificate or be able to obtain it
• High School diploma or GED accepted
• Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred
• One year of job-related experience in food prep and menu items
• Must be 16 years or older
• Three years’ experience in healthcare, hospitality or service environment preferred
• Culinary arts experience preferred
• CPR & First-Aid certifications preferred
• Team-oriented with ability to work with residents and staff

• Maintains a current ServSafe certificate (food services sanitation certificate) or able to participate in the food services sanitation training to become ServSafe certified
• High School diploma or GED accepted
• A culinary apprenticeship or training is preferred
• One (1) year job related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and therapeutic diets
• Must be 16 years or older.
• Three years’ experience in a healthcare, hospitality or service environment preferred
• Culinary arts experience preferred
• CPR & First-Aid certifications preferred
• Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others
• Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment
