Job Purpose
The Dietary Aide assists with food preparation in accordance with established procedural guidelines, under the direction of the Food Service/Dietary Manager or Supervisor. The Cook prepares nutritious, palatable meals that comply with departmental policies, state, and federal regulations, catering to the daily nutritional and special diet needs of residents. Ensures food is prepared and served at proper temperatures and times. Collaborates with the Director of Food Service to allocate resources efficiently, ensuring residents receive appropriate food portions and quality of life.
