Job Summary

The primary objective of the Cook is to prepare and serve three meals and two snacks daily, ensuring compliance with nutritional requirements. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards and interacting with individuals who have a mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Supervise the serving of meals.
• Assist with meal clean-up.
• Maintain a clean work area at all times.
• Manage food stock and storage.
• Coordinate with Food Services Director for food needs.
• Prepare two daily snacks as scheduled.
• Follow all sanitary regulations outlined by state and local health authorities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of institutional or hospitality cooking experience preferred.
• ServSafe Manager certification required within 60 days of hire and must be maintained.
• Excellent customer service skills and appropriate interaction with clients, families, and staff.
• Ability to travel to satellite facilities as needed.

Position Details

Full-time positions available with rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays:

• Monday-Friday, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, with rotating 7:00 am to 3:00 pm shifts.
