Job summary

Bear Mountain Healthcare in Great Barrington, MA, is hiring a cook/Diet Aide to support daily meal preparation for residents.

Experience in food service in an institutional setting is preferred, but not required. Expected duties include but are not limited to:

• Safe food handling
• Assists with food preparation
• Prepares food items/ ensures safe food handling practices
• Willing and able to use institutional equipment for food preparation
• Be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to read, write, and understand the proper diet language [will train]
• Able to work well with residents, staff and supervisors
• Good communication/interpersonal skills
