Cook - Part Time - Night Shift - Weekends/Holidays

In this production role, you will prepare food for distribution to patients, employees, and visitors in accordance with established food preparation procedures. You'll prep, cook, and plate food while adhering to regulatory and food safety guidelines. Be responsible for batch cooking to include following recipes and specifications, using correct methods of preparation and equipment for meats, vegetables, hot cereals, soups, etc. as assigned. In addition, take temperature of all cold/hot foods and monitors for Quality Assurance.

This is a part time position, working 11:00pm-7:00am, including every weekend/holiday.

PreferredCriteria

  • Graduate from a formal technical school specializing in high-volume cooking, or has equivalent culinary experience.
  • Experience in the preparation of high-quality hot and cold food.

Required Criteria

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One to three years of related experience (e.g., healthcare, banquet, catering services, restaurant, corporate setting).
  • Ability to read, speak and follow oral and written instructions in English.
