Yona Eagle in Delaware is seeking a friendly Cook to join our dining team. You will prepare meals, follow recipes, and ensure safe food handling to serve residents, visitors, and staff with warmth and care.

Responsibilities include following menus and safety standards, customizing portions, cleaning as you go, and supporting the food services director to maintain high quality and efficiency in the kitchen. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have proven Cook experience and knowledge of sanitation standards.
• Ability to prepare meals according to recipes and safety guidelines.
• Good communication and physical stamina required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food according to the menu in a safe, sanitary manner.
• Ensures proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods per recipes.
• Maintains safety, sanitation, and cleaning schedules in the kitchen.
• Prepares food in a timely manner at specified meal times.
• Handles leftovers and prevents contamination while managing costs.
