Job summary

Compass Group's Delta GO Cafe in Atlanta, GA is seeking a motivated food service worker to cut deli meats, prepare sandwiches and salads, and maintain high sanitation standards. The role requires attention to portioning, proper temperatures, and teamwork to meet daily production schedules.

Full‑time and part‑time positions available with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour. Weekend availability preferred. Benefits include retirement, health options, and other voluntary programs per company policy.

Qualifications

Job Summary

Cuts delicatessen meats, vegetables and cheeses with slicing machine, knives or other cutters. Prepares and serves sandwiches, salads and other cold food items at Delta GO Cafe.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from Chef.
• Prepare sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments and salads using approved production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Stock and replenish deli/cold products and condiments following approved merchandising guidelines.
• Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstation, stove and refrigerator.
• Store food in designated areas following HACCP standard wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
• Clean, sanitize and maintain counters, work surfaces, refrigeration units and floors in the preparation and serving areas.
• Place meat, cheese or vegetables on cutting board and cut slices to designated thickness. Set slicing machine and operate to produce uniform cuts.
• Interact with coworkers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment to comply with sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 1+ year of experience in food service or kitchen roles, preferably preparing cold foods such as deli items, salads, sandwiches, or grab‑and‑go offerings.

Employment Details

Location: Delta GO Cafe, 1030 Delta Blvd., Atlanta, GA 30354.

Schedule: Full‑time; open availability preferred, weekends required. Application deadline ongoing until all openings are filled.
