HMSHost is seeking a Cook CD in Middletown Township, Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cooked foods and will need to perform all station functions, including Fry, Flat Top Griddle, and Pantry. The position requires at least 1 year of cooking experience in a high volume or fast casual dining environment.
In addition to cooking, the Cook CD must maintain food safety and sanitation standards, operate kitchen equipment, and provide excellent service to customers. This is a non-exempt position that usually reports to the Store Manager.
The Cook CD – Standard is responsible for preparing cooked foods, and must be able to perform all station functions of Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and cooking eggs; communicating ticket times and potential problems to the manager on duty and servers as necessary; performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or assigned management of which associate is capable of performing; providing the highest quality of service to customers and associates at all times. This is a non-exempt position and typically reports to Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or General Manager depending upon local requirements.
