Dexter Community Schools is seeking a dependable Cook/Cashier to prepare and serve meals for students, maintain a clean kitchen, and float between district buildings as needed. The position covers Monday–Friday, about 4 hours daily, with schedule changes based on production and school needs.
Compensation is $15.11 per hour; benefits include a pension plan through MPSERS and 403(b)/457 retirement plans, but it does not include medical benefits.

Position Summary: We are in search of a dependable and skilled individual to join our team as a Cook/Cashier at Dexter Community Schools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to students, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and will be required to float around the district as needed.
Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 4 hours per day estimated, or as determined by production and school schedule needs. Work schedule and number of hours subject to change and to be determined by F&N Director. May include assignment to other program facilities as determined by service, production and personnel needs.
Compensation:

Physical Demands
The physical demands of this job require bending, standing for long periods, and the ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs of weight using a team lift approach. An F&N employee must be able to work safely around all kitchen equipment, cooking, steaming and holding units, knives and a dishwasher.
