Job summary

Clyde CISD is seeking a full-time cafeteria worker to support daily food service operations on a Monday–Friday schedule. The role involves preparing and serving food, maintaining sanitation, and assisting with cashier duties as needed.

Candidates should have food service awareness, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and pass a fingerprint background check. Training will cover safety procedures and district standards.

Qualifications

• Food service experience helpful.
• Must obtain Food Handler Certification from an ANSI accredited program.
• Must pass fingerprinting background check.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand on feet for long periods.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and understand food preparation and safety procedures.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Rotate all positions/stations in the kitchen and possibly at other campus kitchens.
• Demonstrate core values: integrity, high expectations, commitment, respect, teamwork and student-centered environment.
• Money handling experience helpful.
