Job summary

Koelsch Communities is seeking a skilled Cook for The Park at Belle Harbour in Bellevue, WA. This full-time role offers shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, four days a week (Fri-Mon) with pay between $21 and $25 per hour depending on experience.

You will prepare and serve high-quality meals for the community, ensure proper food handling, and maintain a safe, clean kitchen environment. Growth opportunities are available within the organization.

Qualifications

• Food handlers certificate as required by state law.
• Knowledge of food preparation, production and plate presentation.
• Compliance with drug screening on hire and periodically.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Knowledge of special dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious, appetizing meals per menu and schedule.
• Store, date, and rotate food per guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.
• Follow kitchen cleaning schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You\'ll Do

• Ensure food is prepared in a nutritional, appetizing fashion, and presented in an attractive manner per the menu and schedule
• Properly store, date, and rotate food per food handling guidelines
• Keep the environment safe and clean
• Follow kitchen cleaning schedule
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• All requirements related to the food handlers’ certificate per state requirements
• Knowledge of food preparation, production and plate presentation
• Must be drug-free and submit to a drug screening upon hire and routinely
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
• Knowledge of special dietary needs
