Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares high-quality food items following standardized recipes to meet production and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, attractiveness, and taste. Tastes all prepared food items.
• Uses established ticket collection procedures during service. Responsible for records during service periods.
• Cleans kitchen areas after use, maintaining high cleanliness standards. Stores or discards excess food safely.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized. Ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
• Helps with ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
• Attends safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Performs job safely, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
• Commits to personal and team safety.
• Adheres to all company policies, including safety gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
