Aztec Grill is seeking a dependable Line Cook for daytime shifts in a fast-paced kitchen. You will prepare and cook items per recipes, keep a clean workstation, and help ensure timely service in a warm environment.

Pay starts at $17.50–$18.50 per hour with benefits and opportunities for advancement. The role requires evenings/weekends availability and a willingness to obtain a food handler permit if needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Food Handler Permit as required by county, city, or state or be able to obtain one within 30 days.
• Food Service, Quick Service, Retail experience a plus.
• A passion for delivering friendly, fast, and high-quality service.
• Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.

Shift: Days 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Line Cooks are responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced environment, following recipes, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and ensuring timely and accurate food service. Physical Environment:

• This role is classified as Light Work: regularly lifting 10+ lbs., occasionally up to 20 lbs., and up to 40 lbs. as needed.
• Requires standing for most of the shift with frequent bending, twisting, and quick movements during busy hours. Work is performed in a warm kitchen environment.
