Jacksons Food Stores is seeking a Kitchen Associate to prepare and cook food according to store recipes, ensuring fast, safe service and a clean work area.

You'll stock ingredients, follow food safety standards, communicate with the team, and contribute to a positive, high-quality customer experience. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required; tuition reimbursement and full-time benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• Food Service, Quick Service, Retail experience a plus
• Food Handler Permit as required by county/city/state or obtainable within 30 days
• A passion for delivering friendly, fast, high-quality service
• Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude

Physical Environment:

• This role is classified as Light Work: regularly lifting 10+ lbs., occasionally up to 20 lbs., and up to 40 lbs. as needed.
• Requires standing for most of the shift with frequent bending, twisting, and quick movements during busy hours. Work is performed in a warm kitchen environment.
