Walker Methodist Levande in Cambridge offers assisted living and memory care apartments with health, personal care, and supportive services for older adults. Walker Methodist is a network of senior living communities dedicated to Life and all the living that goes with it, enhancing the lives of older adults through a culture of care, respect, and service.

Walker Methodist Levande is recruiting experienced Cooks to prepare high-quality resident meals in a restaurant-style setting. If you have the skills, experience, and awareness in following recipes, portion control, presentation guidelines, and specific therapeutic diets, the Culinary Services team is ready to welcome you.

We are hiring two full-time or part-time Cooks for this new senior living community.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within three months of hire
  • At least one year of experience as a cook or attending culinary school
  • Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Pleasant, tactful, respectful, and professional with residents, family members, healthcare staff, and co-workers
  • Ability to live Walker Methodist's Customer Service Principles
