Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in a cafeteria, restaurant, or similar food service environment preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and commercial kitchen operations.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and service of daily meals.
• Ensure serving lines are properly prepared before each meal service.
• Assist in preparing wholesome, nutritious, and appealing meals.
• Monitor food temperatures to ensure safety.
• Maintain proper food handling and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory management and notify supervisors when supplies run low.
• Help prepare weekly and monthly food service reports.
• Maintain daily records of food costs and usage.
• Assist with kitchen organization, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
• Work with the Food Services team to provide excellent service to students and staff.
• Follow all health department, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
