Sodexo is seeking a Cook Apprentice at Gonzaga University in Spokane. This part-time role involves preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and cold foods across meals and events. You will join a 6-week training program designed to develop culinary skills and leadership abilities.

Employment Type: Part-time

Pay Range: $17.13 - $18.00

What You’ll Do:As a Cook Apprentice at Sodexo, you are a developing culinarian and aspiring leader. Your ability to deliver the highest quality of service to customers creates a positive atmosphere for everyone.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods to include breakfast, lunch, dinner and any special or catered events.
• This is a6-week training program. At the successful completion of the training program, the Cook Apprentice will eligible to apply for a Cook I position.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 0 –2 years of work-related experience.
