Job summary

Four Seasons Maui is hiring a Cook 5 to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner to Four Seasons standards while ensuring a safe, sanitary kitchen. You will follow recipes, manage portions, and maintain a clean workstation for high-service days.

The role requires 1–2 years kitchen experience, knowledge of basic cooking methods, and a strong focus on accuracy and teamwork. Hawaii-specific food-handling certifications and ServSafe timing are expected.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of kitchen experience.
• Working understanding of fundamental cooking methods.
• Developing multitasking ability and willingness to take direction.
• Understanding of safe food handling procedures.
• Demonstrated reliability, organization, and willingness to learn.
• Hawaii Food Handler’s Card.
• ServSafe certification within 3 months.
• Tuberculosis clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to Four Seasons standards, following approved recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines while maintaining a well-organized workstation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
• Assist with food preparation and production, ensuring items are prepared in advance based on business demands while minimizing waste and maintaining quality standards.
• Operate, maintain, and clean a variety of kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.

TheCook5 prepares breakfast, lunch, and dinner, food items per guest orders in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment. This role is part of theFood & BeverageDivision, reporting to the Kitchen Management Team. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.
