Job Summary

Summary: Learns to assist in the preparation and cooking of various food items, progressing towards becoming a qualified, skilled cook. Maintains food safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares food according to standardized recipes.
• Follows production sheets and prep lists to ensure adequate stock of all food items.
• Complies with all safety and sanitation standards set by Levy and the Health Department.
• Stores, labels, and dates all food items per policy.
• Loads, unloads, and transports food items and supplies between areas.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety.
• Performs other duties as directed.

• Must be able to frequently move and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
