Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic, creative, and ambitious individuals to join Pegasus Pizza. A senior line cook plays a crucial role in kitchen operations by preparing various dishes at multiple stations, both hot and cold, across different cuisines. This role offers opportunities to develop supervisory and management skills, providing a pathway for career growth. If you want to enhance your culinary skills within the Omni Dallas Hotel’s top-ranked Food and Beverage program, this position could be ideal for you.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare a variety of hot and cold food items for Pegasus Pizza efficiently, prioritizing tasks as needed.
  2. Operate at least one kitchen station, such as the pizza station, prep station, salad & cold station, or others assigned.
  3. Maintain cleanliness of all preparation stations and surrounding culinary areas.
  4. Organize and prepare current and future requisitions.
  5. Communicate menu and dietary changes effectively across shifts.
Qualifications
  • 2-4+ years of culinary experience, with proficiency in operating multiple stations.
  • Knowledge of basic kitchen preparation, knife skills, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Food Handlers certification required.
  • Ability to stand for 8+ hours daily and remain active.
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
