Job description

Under the direction of the Sous Chef or Cook 4, the Cook 2 prepares, seasons, and cooks soups, vegetables, and other food items for consumption at banquets, restaurants, and/or in-room dining, along with all tasks called upon. Must be capable of large volume food production.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Six (6) months experience in a full-service or production kitchen required.
3. Must have the ability to understand food requests, ask questions regarding its preparation, and assure team members' or guests' satisfaction with their order in English.
4. Working during weekends, holidays, and peak business periods is required, including working any shift/day designated by the department.
5. Team member must be able to lift a minimum of 35lbs multiple times per day and push a cart weighing up to 100lbs.
