JOIN OUR TEAM

The primary purpose of the position is to efficiently act as a culinary artist. The Cook 2 will prepare food for buffets, line a la carte and banquets, and assist with production of all salads and desserts. The Cook 2 will create appealing, delicious dishes as per Canad Inns specs and standards. The Cook may also assist Chefs with menu engineering. The Cook 2 will ensure all guests receive a dish with a quality presentation. The Cook 2 may be required to complete job tasks related to the Food Service Receiver, Kitchen Steward and Buffet Attendant/Prep Cook position.

Responsibilities:

Seeking to understand the guest, and meet and exceed the needs of both the guest and the company. Ensure that work is accurate, thorough, and to the highest standards. Demonstrate personal ownership of tasks and follow through to get the required results. Constantly assess and adapt current practices to perform a task better, faster, or more efficiently. Value and remain open to new ideas and perspectives. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Good communication and listening skills. Previous experience.
