Join Our Team as a Memory Care Cook at The Madison Senior Living!

Located in Kansas City, Missouri, we are seeking a dedicated Cook (PRN) to join our team. Our starting wage range for Memory Care Cooks is $18.00-$21.50 per hour.

Shift Schedule: Varies, with shifts from 6:30am-2:30pm or 11:30am-7:30pm.

About the Role:

1. Prepare all menu items: According to established standards and recipes, providing high-quality, attractively presented food in a timely manner.
2. Maintain cleanliness and safety: Follow health protocols, including hygiene, sanitary food preparation, and proper food temperatures.
3. Engage with residents: Familiarize yourself with their preferences and needs, and participate in resident orientations.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Current Food Handlers Card as per Department of Health requirements.
• Demonstrated skills in leadership, training, and supervision.
• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day, and lift/move items up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working near extreme temperatures and working indoors and outdoors.
• Criminal background clearance required.
