Position Type: PRN/As Needed

Starting wage for Cooks: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Shift Schedule: Varies

Location: The Princeton Senior Living, 1701 SE Oldham Pkwy, Lee’s Summit, Missouri 64081

We are looking for someone like you:
  • To be a Culinary Craftsman: Prepare all menu items according to standards and recipes, providing quality, attractively presented food in a timely manner.
  • To take the Mess Out of Mess Hall: Follow health protocols, including hygiene, sanitary food prep, and proper food temperatures.
  • To be a Culinary Connector: Get to know residents’ preferences and participate in resident orientations.
What are we looking for?
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • You possess a current Food Handler’s Card as per the Department of Health.
  • You have demonstrated skills in leadership, training, and supervision.
  • You have proficient written and oral communication skills.
  • You are able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
  • You can frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • You are comfortable working near extreme temperatures, including cooking surfaces and freezers.
  • You are available to work indoors and outdoors for events.
  • You must be criminally cleared.
