Come be a part of our team at The Wellington Senior Living, located at 1051 Kent St., Liberty, Missouri 64068. We are seeking a dedicated Cook (PRN/As Needed) to prepare quality meals for our residents.

Position Details

1. Wage: $17.75 - $21.00 per hour
2. Shift Schedule: Varies

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes, providing attractive, timely, and high-quality food.
• Maintain health and safety protocols, including hygiene, sanitary food preparation, and proper food temperatures.
• Foster relationships with residents by understanding their preferences and participating in resident orientations.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• Current Food Handlers Card
• Demonstrated leadership, training, and supervisory skills
• Proficient in written and oral communication
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day, and lift/move items up to 50 pounds
• Comfort with extreme temperatures and indoor/outdoor work
• Criminal background check clearance
