Located in Downtown LA’s cultural corridor, Conrad Los Angeles is the city’s newest luxury destination, featuring over 300 rooms, a world-class spa, a 16,000-square-foot rooftop pool deck, 12,000 square feet of event space, and three dynamic dining experiences—including our signature restaurant, San Laurel, all in partnership with Chef Jose Andres' award-winning restaurant group, JoseAndresFoodGroup.

In this role as a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards to deliver outstanding service.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of cooking experience in a hotel/restaurant environment. Good working knowledge of sanitation standards, operation of kitchen equipment (stoves, ovens, broilers, steamers, kettles), basic math skills for following recipes, and the ability to communicate effectively in English are required. Manual dexterity, ability to work in confined spaces, perform duties within extreme temperatures, and lift up to 50 lbs are essential. Must be a team player and able to work a full shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities include:

1. Preparing all food items according to recipes and guest orders, ensuring consistency and quality.
2. Monitoring storage and freshness of food, maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
3. Preparing daily requisitions for supplies and food items.
4. Following recipes accurately using math skills.
