Join the team at Conrad Los Angeles, the newest luxury hotel in downtown LA, part of The Grand LA project. This is the 7th Conrad Hotel in the U.S. and the first in California.

Role Overview: Cook

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food items according to recipes and standards to ensure outstanding service and quality.

Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of cooking experience in a hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Good knowledge of sanitation standards.
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment following manuals or instructions (stoves, ovens, broilers, steamers, kettles, etc.).
  • Basic math skills for following recipes, measurements, and portion sizes.
  • Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and communication.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to handle kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and extreme temperatures.
  • Team player with the ability to perform repetitive tasks following culinary recipes.
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and work an 8-hour shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
