Space Needle in Seattle is seeking a dedicated cook to oversee all food quality and production on the assigned station, ensuring high standards and consistent results while maintaining proper temperature controls during service.

The role requires 3+ years of cooking experience, ability to read and understand English, and a valid food handler’s card within 14 days of employment. Culinary school training is preferred but not required, and the position is full-time and union represented.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for all food quality and production on assigned station. Ability to prepare and serve quality and consistent food products according to service standards while maintaining temperature guidelines as provided by guests.

Experience & Skills Required:

Three plus years cooking experience, trained in all areas, ability to read and comprehend instructions given in English, strong attention to detail and good communication skills. Job requires a valid food handler’s card within 14 days of employment.

Other Ideal Qualifications:

Culinary school training preferred but not required.

Physical Demands:

Ability to walk, stand, reach, and lift entire shift in a warm/hot environment. Ability to lift 20 pounds, 10 pounds over head. Typical shift is 8 hours.

Full Time, Union Represented, Hourly Position

Hourly Rate: $26.00 - $26.00 / hour
