Job summary

Pullman Regional Hospital is seeking a Red Sage Cook to assist in customer meal preparation and operate kitchen equipment. You will help where needed and bring smiles to our customers as part of a dedicated Food Service team.

The role emphasizes preparing freshly made meals in a safe environment and contributing to quality patient and staff dining experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Washington State Food Handler’s Card within 30 days of hire.
• Must work cooperatively with Red Sage staff and other customers.
• Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
• Assume accountability for own actions.
• Participate in departmental meetings. Learn and master all aspects of the position.

Responsibilities

• Read tickets and cook on a flat top grill, plus use a fryer.
• Assemble food products in a timely manner with presentation in mind.
• Prioritize tasks to complete within the time allotted and budget time efficiently.
• Analyze menu for items that need advance preparation.

Pay Range:

The base pay range for this position is

$19.01-$28.00 Hourly

however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
