Job Overview

The Cook prepares all food items for the Restaurants, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria, and Banquets, ensuring high standards and appealing presentation. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, minimizing waste, and supporting kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
• Complete food and station preparation prior to service.
• Prepare and display buffet items according to standards.
• Recognize quality standards in ingredients.
• Maintain sanitation and proper food handling.
• Prepare food for Banquets as per Event Orders.
• Assist in preparing food for Employee Cafeteria.
• Follow hotel recipes and support kitchen team.
• Break down buffets and store items properly.
• Support banquet stations as scheduled.
• Know fire safety equipment locations and operation.
• Practice safe work habits.
• Use Production Charts as per standards.
• Support other kitchen positions when needed.
• Follow health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment.
• Adopt a 'Clean As You Go' policy.
• Assist with food storage and rotation.
• Manage keys under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Culinary experience required.
