Job summary

Taher, Inc. is growing and seeks a Lead Cook to join our Elementary School team. You will follow standardized recipes, write menus, and ensure meals meet quality standards while staying within time limits.

Responsibilities include managing ordering, receiving, storing and inventory of perishable products per HACCP procedures, reinforcing USDA guidelines, and controlling costs and waste in a fast-paced environment. EOE/AA

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to teach, train and direct a team.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Successfully pass a criminal background check.
