Lunchtime Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dependable Cook for the on-site program at Wabasha-Kellogg School District. The role focuses on preparing nutritious meals, following provided recipes, and delivering quality service to students during a Monday–Friday daytime schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals following provided recipes.
• Support daily meal operations including forecasting and stocking.
• Maintain food safety and HHFKA compliance with logs and records.
• Keep the kitchen organized and safe, using FIFO practices.
• Communicate with supervisors, staff, and customers to ensure smooth service.
• Help train new staff and fill in other roles when needed.

Location: On-site at Wabasha-Kellogg School District
Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:15am-2:15pm

Pay Range: $15.00-16.00

Lunchtime Solutions is seeking a dependable, team‑focused Cook to join our school food service program. If you take pride in preparing nutritious and delicious meals, enjoy a positive work environment working with students, and want a schedule that supports work–life balance, this role is a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and cook high‑quality meals by following provided recipes and ensure everything is ready for scheduled serving times.
• Support daily meal operations by assisting with forecasting, preparing special diet items, helping with special events, and stocking/serving menu items during service.
• Maintain food safety and compliance by following HHFKA serving guidelines, completing HACCP logs and production records, and monitoring participation trends.
• Keep the kitchen running smoothly through regular cleaning, organizing storage areas using FIFO practices, and maintaining a safe, healthy work environment.
• Communicate and collaborate with supervisors, team members, school staff, and customers to ensure smooth operations and great service.
• Contribute to team growth by helping train new staff and filling in in other roles when needed.

What You Bring

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, and other physical tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to follow recipes, measure ingredients, and convert quantities for large batches.
