Job summary

American Senior Communities in Autumn Ridge is seeking a part-time Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare and serve meals that meet residents' nutritional needs while upholding sanitation and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include following menus, leading kitchen tasks, and maintaining a clean work area; preferred candidates have a GED or HS diploma and experience, plus sanitation certification. ASC offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling, unless required by State and Federal agencies.
• Preferred: Prior Institutional and/or Healthcare service experience.

• Handles, stores, and disposes of food supplies, and prepares food in accordance with departmental procedures and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
